WindIgnite – Innovation for All

Research has revealed unequal participation rates for women, people of color, veterans, and economically and geographically underserved individuals in the innovation pathway.

The WindIgnite program is tailored for innovators, start-ups, entrepreneurs and small businesses, with a particular emphasis on women and minority-owned enterprises. We want to close the gap for underrepresented innovators and contribute to the development of a supply chain that is based on the concept of innovation justice for all.

Rutgers EcoComplex has a history of creating opportunities for underrepresented innovators and students. Currently the EcoComplex start-up community is comprised of 95% underrepresented population members.
